Managers Treat

I love my lunch break; it's an hour away from work and the boring atmosphere of the office. I have been working at this company for the last 4 years, I enjoy what I do but sometimes the time just seems to drag. We have a new manager for our team, who doesn't seem to know anything about his job.
For the past few weeks we have been helping the new manager with his job, showing him where things are and what he needs to do. Everyone in my team find it very funny that we are practically doing the manager's job as well as ours, which means our workload has doubled in the past few weeks.

With a huge workload, it's very stressful at work, so we tend to really look forward to our lunch break. As its Friday today, we usually go to eat at the local pizza place; it's our way of treating ourselves after a long hard week.

Our new manager has decided to pay for our lunch today; it's his way of saying thank you for helping him with everything. Our team left the office together, so that way we don't have wait for anyone once we are at the pizza place.

As we were walking through the shopping centre, there was a stall in the middle with representatives walking around. We got approached by one of them, out of curiosity we stopped and listened to him talk.
